  • Total Episodes : 16

Synopsis

The KBS romantic comedy drama Secret Agent Miss Oh(Call of the Country) will unfold a story filled with a great deal of trouble between rigid Ko Jin Hyuk (Kim Sang Kyung) and unpredictable Oh Ha Na (Lee Su Kyung), and the first episode will be broadcast on May 10.

Oh Ha Na is a lowly policewoman who lacks a sense of duty and believes that it is worth bending the rules in order to achieve your aims. She meets and begins to investigate Go Jin Hyuk, an elite intelligence agent, and they clash instantly based on their different morals. Their initial dislike of each other masks their romantic attraction, but this development is hindered by the existence of Choi Eun Seo, Jin Hyuk’s first love.

Lee Soo-kyung plays a lowly, accident-prone officer who meets the elite agent played by Kim Sang-kyung, and the two become entangled in a series of comic events. Lee’s character is described as a cross between a 21st-century Candy and Shim Chung – so, sigh, yet another iteration of that plucky commoner heroine, without a seeming twist to distinguish her from that trope. I do think this character suits Lee, though, who plays the comedic everywoman with a lot of cute charm. Clazziquai singer Horan plays another spy, a sleek and professional agent, while Lee’s recent co-star from Loving You A Thousand Times, Ryu Jin, also stars.

Lee Su Kyung revealed her perfect transformation into a troublemaking policewoman in the drama “Call of the Country” for the first time. By looking at her natural and lively acting, production staff members reportedly are highly anticipating her acting in the future. Viewers should be able to expect Lee Su Kyung’s different images while protraying the “cute, bizarre, and daring” character, Oh Ha Na.

Lee Su Kyung shows a natural and energetic performance as if she had actually become the character Oh Ha Na, who is a pleasant and lively policewoman.

Lee Su Kyung portrayed the character Oh Ha Na perfectly with various facial expressions such as showing sly, pensive, and motivated facial expressions.

Lee Su Kyung: “I am filming this drama with pleasant and excited feelings because I am playing a bright and active character in this drama.

Brief Synopsis

Everything is difficult at first and gets easier the second and third time. However there is an exception in the case of marriages. The first marriage is difficult but the second and third, it gets worse and even harder. This drama depicts the inner thoughts of men and women who once married but are now single again. It shows how they go about falling in love again in a comical and sometimes absurd way to evoke tears, hope and laughter out of viewers. With fantasies of love, this show washes away all stress accumulated from everyday life within viewers.

DRAMA REVIEW :

A pair of good friends cum colleagues (starred by Kim Ji-ho and Jung Sun-kyoung) apparently runs out of luck in love life and at work. Ji-ho’s character is a young widower, supporting her elderly father and young son while Sun-kyoung plays a money-grubber, who bears a heavy financial burden for her debt-straddled ex-husband and the motherly pain of living separately with her daughter.

Single again by forced circumstances, will their love life be eventually given a new lease of hope and happiness?

Just when you think that things will not go worse, both were later retrenched due to an organizational re-structure led by the new CEO (Kim Sung-Min alias Sung Taek) of Hana Travel Corporation. Ji-ho and Sung-Min had a misunderstanding that seeded the start of their intertwined fate. Then enters the character of beautiful Jo Mi-ryeong, a good platonic friend and admirer of Sung-Min. To spice things up, she’s also an old classmate of Ji-ho and Sun-kyoung. This completes the essential Korean love triangle but it is definitely not as weepy and heavily sorrowful as most drama series.

Will Mi-ryeong be successful in breaking them up? And what’s the relationship between the little girl and Sung-Min?

This drama’s refreshing storyline brings our attention to this group of men and women who were once married but are now single again. It highlights their inner sentiments and struggles to decide if to take another dare at love realms. Also, they have to cope with the pressure from the society while continue with their lives.

Love is a necessary but not sufficient condition for a forever-happy marriage due to factors beyond human control and predictability.

Audience will have a great time laughing out at the absurdly comical but hilarious incidents. A tinge of sweetness also comes at seeing how the characters are gradually going to fall in love again. In the show, Sun-kyoung, tries all kind of amazing ways to seduce Sung-Min’s school senior (a restaurant owner) but is given the cold shoulder. It is done in such a light-hearted, funny way that you will enjoy laughing than dismayed by her. There will be an interesting development between them.

Kim Ji-Ho, a veteran actress, portrays her role as a mother with ease and has a wide smile that comes with lively, expressive eyes. On the other hand, Kim Sung-Min charms the viewers with his tanned and mature outlook. His drama has won over Philippines audience and was the ‘Honorary Philippine Tourism Envoy’ in Korea. The beautiful white-sand beaches in the show were filmed in Cebu.

A short and funnily- sweet drama in general. Now you will realize that a good Korean drama can also be watched affectionately without shedding much tears, yet can still touch you with its dominant love and family values.

Synopsis

Losing her mother at a young age, Misaki Yoko (Ueto Aya) was raised amongst three brothers. Yoko is a slightly boyish girl who is bullheaded and hates dishonesty. Ever since she was young, she enjoyed the company of boys over girls. She starts a band with four of her boy friends and becomes the lead singer. Then one day, one of the members of the band, Tsukasa, gets a job at a bank in Tokyo. Due to Tsukasa leaving town, the band breaks up and though Yoko finds herself lonely, she puts on a strong act in front of Tsukasa. She can’t tell Tsukasa how she truly feels for him. On the day Tsukasa leaves for Tokyo, Yoko goes along with the band members to the airport to see him off. The guys get excited when they see some cabin crew ladies and Yoko has no idea why. She reminds them that even she can wear a uniform, but the guys only make fun of her. That’s when Tsukasa tells Yoko he wonders what she’d look like dressed in uniform. This is when Yoko decides she wants to work as a Cabin Attendant.
